Accepting these terms

These Terms govern your use of IRL's mobile app, website, and related services. By creating an account or using IRL, you agree to them. You must be at least 13 and legally able to agree to these Terms; minors need permission from a parent or guardian.

Your account

Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details private, and tell us if you believe your account is compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account. One person may not misuse another person's account or data.

Fitness, nutrition, and AI guidance

IRL provides educational fitness and nutrition tools, not medical care. Calorie targets, body projections, food data, workout plans, form guidance, and AI responses are estimates and may be incomplete or wrong. Consult a qualified professional before beginning a program, especially if you have an injury, medical condition, eating-disorder history, are pregnant, or experience pain or alarming symptoms.

You remain responsible for choosing appropriate exercises, loads, foods, and goals. Stop exercising and seek appropriate help if something feels unsafe.

Food and community data

Food information may come from public databases or IRL users. Always verify an item's label, serving size, allergens, and nutrition before relying on it. If you contribute a food, you confirm the information is lawful and reasonably accurate, and grant IRL permission to store, review, edit, share, and remove it for operation of the food database.

Apple Health and third-party services

Apple Health access is optional and controlled by you. IRL also depends on third-party platforms and data providers. Their terms may apply to their services, and IRL is not responsible for outages or changes outside our control.

Premium and billing

If IRL offers Premium subscriptions through Apple, payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled through your Apple ID and Apple's terms. Prices and trial terms are shown before purchase. Restore Purchases must be used with the Apple ID that made the purchase. Deleting your IRL account does not itself cancel an Apple subscription.

Acceptable use

Do not break laws, harass others, submit harmful or deceptive data, probe or disrupt IRL's security, scrape the service, bypass access limits, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or use automated systems without permission. We may remove content or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service.

Ownership and availability

IRL and its original software, design, branding, and content belong to IRL and its licensors. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable right to use the service. We may improve, change, pause, or discontinue features and cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IRL is provided "as is" and without warranties. IRL is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending use, changes, and law

You may stop using IRL or delete your account at any time. We may restrict access for material violations of these Terms. We may update these Terms and will identify the effective date; continued use after a material update means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without overriding mandatory consumer protections where you live. Questions can be sent to support@makeitirl.ca.
